Say It to My Face
TYPOGRAPHY, PRINT
Say It to My Face is an editorial design project based on Episode 810 of This American Life, which explores honesty, vulnerability, and communication in relationships. Working collaboratively, the team designed a printed newspaper that translates the emotional tone of the audio stories into visual form. The layout focuses on rhythm, pacing, and typographic contrast to express moments of tension and reflection within the narrative. Through the process, the project showed how visual composition and type hierarchy can guide emotional storytelling in print, demonstrating how design can capture the intimacy of spoken stories and make them tangible through visual language.
